Last night I received an email from Palacer Lazaro. The body of the email was empty, except a link. I don’t know Lazaro, though I was briefly in contact with him, so he does, I now assume, have my email address in a contact list, perhaps something akin to a fan list. On receiving the email I thought perhaps his account had been hacked, but I was curious so I googled the name of what turned out to be a magazine called I Want You, an art magazine based in Seattle, and hence discovered the link was legit. In fact, it led to a new Shabazz Palaces song. Here it is.
